This year's amazing Montepaschi Siena continue their playoff straight and remain unbeaten. After winning over Armani in Milano the now leading the series 3-0 and need just one more win in the best-of-7 series to capture the championship.
In the first half both teams had good stretches and took small leads, yet Armani seemed to be a bit more balanced and had a 6-point lead at halftime (45-39). In the second half however Siena was eager to get one step closer to the title by first coming back and leading by 1 at the end of the 3rd and finally winning the game with 72-73. The series stays in Milano for game 4 on Tuesday.
Hawkins had 23, Hall 15 and 14 rebounds and Beard 12 for Armani.
Siena saw 18 points from Finley, and 11 from each Kaukenas and McIntyre.
