ImageAccording to the Israeli newspaper 'The Jerusalem Post' Maccabi Haifa is close to signing the US high-school phenomenon Jeremy Tyler, who has decided not only to skip College but skit the last year of High School and try his luck in a pro-league in Europe.

Jeremy Tyler who is 211cm and 116kg is a power forward/center is rumoured to decide his future club in Europe by next Friday. His agent, Sonny Vaccaro has been offering his club to various clubs in Europe, including the Euroleague club Marousi, and has said that Tyler will choose  team either from Italy, Greece or Israel.

Tyler is being projected by various specialists as the #1 for the 2011 NBA drafts, which means he has two solid season in Europe to prove himself. Tyler's father has confirmed that two Israeli clubs and Roma have been watching his son's workouts in Sata Monica and have already approached him.
