The Dallas Mavericks (18-22) were defeated by the Los Angeles Lakers (22-19) at home 97:107 (33:25, 34:29, 13:32, 17:21) and extended their losing streak to three games.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 27 points (on 10/23 shooting, including 2/6 from three). In addition, he grabbed eight boards, blocked one shot and dished out two assists.

Harrison Barnes, Dennis Smith Jr. and J.J. Barea added 11 points apiece, DeAndre Jordan managed 10 points and 19 rebounds.

Five Mavericks finished in double figures. Dallas made 8 on 30 three-point attempts.

On the other hand, Brandon Ingram was the top scorer for the Lakers with a game-high 29 points (on 12/21 shooting) and six assists, Lonzo Ball added 21 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Josh Hart posted 14 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, Kyle Kuzma and Michael Beasley contributed 13 points apiece.

LeBron James missed the game due to injury.
