The second half brought no changes. The game was still very close. Zalgiris managed to win the third period by 2 points and they were down by two at stat of the fourht quarter.
Visitors tried to make a run right from the start of the final period. Soon they had the biggest lead of the game 60-51. It could have been a breaking point but Mantas Kalnietis hit two three-pointers helping Lithuanian champions to come closer.
Rytas were up by two points with 5 seconds left on the clock. Willie Deane took the ball on his own court side and decided to try to seal the win for Zalgiris. Instead of passing the ball to a player who was closer to the basket, he shot a buzzer-beater from downtown but it bounced off the rim.
