Baltic basketball fans will have an opporunity to see the best teams from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania fighting early in the season. On the last weekend of Spetember BBL (Baltic Basketball League) will stage their first preseason competition – BBL Presidents Cup. It will involve domestic league champions and BBL finalist.
Lietuvos Rytas and Zalgiris met in every BBL final since the league was opened. Though this time only one of them will have the chance to fight for the Presidents Cup as they were drawn in the semi-final.
Competition will be hosted in Arena Riga and the host Barons Riga will certainly do their best to please their fans as they take on Estonian champions Tartu Rock.
