The Dallas Mavericks were defeated by the Sacramento Kings at home (113-120).

Before the game, the Kings head coach Dave Joerger spoke about Luka Doncic.

Here is what Joerger said, per Yahoo Sports: “Perhaps there was an idea that there was a ceiling on him. I don’t see it, unfortunately for us. But he’s great for them and he’s great for our league.”

Luka Doncic could be drafted by the Sacramento Kings with their No. 2 pick, but instead of Doncic, the Kings decided to choose Marvin Bagley III, who is currently out one to two weeks due to injury.

This season, Marvin Bagley III is averaging 12.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.0 block per game, while shooting at 53.6 percent from the floor. Meanwhile, Luka Doncic is averaging 18.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game, while shooting at 43.5 percent from the floor.
