Breogan, which is on the bottom of the standings in the ACB, dominated the defending champions Real Madrid at home (84-71).

The hosts took control of the game from the second quarter and never looked back.

They were in front by 26 in the fourth quarter (73-47) and cruised to an easy victory over their opponents, despite the “Whites” attempt to make a come-back in the end.

Salva Arco and Johan Loifberg led the winners in scoring, with 14 points apiece.

Sergio Llull and Klemen Prepelic posted 14 points apiece for the losing squad.

Breogan claimed just their third win in 12 games (3-9), whereas Real Madrid suffered its third loss in the ACB (9-3).

The defending champions played without Facundo Campazzo, Gustavo Ayon and Anthony Randolph before EuroLeague’s double week.
