TalkBasket.net spoke with Panathinaikos forward DeShaun Thomas regarding the “Greens” loss to Fenerbahce at home (69-81).

Here is what the American player said:

On what went wrong in the game: “We fought, we played good defence especially in the beginning, and in many parts of the game, but we missed easy baskets offensively and that cost us the win.”

On whether the team can turn things around, as they have lost their last three games: “Of course we can, it is a long season, but we have made a slow start so far.

Everything will be good, we will be back to normal, if we claim consecutive victories. I believe in the coach and my teammates.”

On his performance: “I am trying to be as good as I can and do everything on the floor, score points, play defence, stick to the game plan.

I have to be better in shooting the ball, we should all do that, it is about confidence and chemistry. It is a long season and we have to believe in ourselves.”
