The legendary coach was part of the “Greens” “Golden Era” (2000-2011) and always receives a warm welcome when he comes back in Athens as an opponent.
Panathinaikos head coach Xavi Pascual also received a warm welcome, with the club’s fans showing their support to the Catalan coach.
Fenerbahce (10-1) defeated the six-time EuroLeague champions (5-6) and remained on top of the standings.
