Rudy Fernandez hit four three-pointers in the fourth quarter and helped Real Madrid beat Zalgiris in Kaunas (79-90).

The Spanish forward finished the game with 15 points, on 5/7 shooting from beyond the arc. Anthony Randolph had a team-high 16 points for the winners, as Gustavo Ayon added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

On the other hand, Paulius Jankunas posted a game-high 18 points for the Lithuanians, as Nate Wolters and Brandon Davies contributed 16 and 11 points, respectively.

The hosts made a perfect start to the game and took a 14-point lead (32-18). The visitors responded, though, and went on a 12-25 run to cut the deficit to just one at halftime (44-43).

Zalgiris retained their lead in the third quarter and were in front by six, after 30 minutes in the game (68-62). However, Real Madrid came back again and outscored their opponents 11-28 in the fourth quarter to earn a crucial victory on the road (79-90).

The “Whites” remained undefeated in the league (5-0), whereas the Lithuanians suffered their third defeat in five games (2-3).
