Zalgiris Kaunas saw Panathinaikos come back from a 15-point deficit (17-32), but they stood tall and claim a big victory in overtime (83-87).

Brandon Davies was the MVP of the match, as he scored 18 points and tied the game, with six seconds to go (76-76). Thomas Walkup had 16 points for the winners, as Aaron White posted 13 points and eight rebounds and Nate Wolters 10 and nine boards.

On the contrary, Nick Calathes contributed a game-high 22 points for the “Greens”, but missed a three-pointer at the buzzer to give his team the victory. Keith Langford added 13 points for the losing squad.

The Lithuanians made a great start to the game and took a 15-point lead (17-32), ending the first half in front by 11 (33-44).

The six-time EuroLeague champions came back, though, and outscored their opponents 43-32 in the second half. Davies tied the game, with six seconds to go, with Calathes missing the three-pointer at the buzzer (76-76).

In overtime, Zalgiris hit some big shots and claimed the victory, as Panathinaikos couldn’t turn things around again (83-87).

Both teams now have identical records in the EuroLeague (2-2).
