Various EuroLeague teams are still facing adversity, due to health protocols for COVID. As a result, the competition announced that several games have been suspended for Round 19.

More specifically, the following matchups (ALBA Berlin vs. Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, Anadolu Efes Istanbul vs. FC Bayern Munich and Zalgiris Kaunas vs. Olympiacos Piraeus, originally scheduled to be played on January 6, and January 7) have been suspended.

Panathinaikos, Efes and Olympiacos requested the suspension after several team members tested positive for COVID-19. The two Greek teams haven’t played in EuroLeague since Dec.23.

The EuroLeague will work a timeline with the affected teams to reschedule the games. Alternative dates will be announced in the near future.
