On Luka Doncic: “Doncic? Yes, I think he will be a star, he has all the numbers and now he has to prove it year after year for a while. Doncic has all the conditions to be a game changer, a star and mark a basketball era.”
On playing for Spain in the 2019 FIBA World Cup: “For now, I have to be focused on the season and as I have done in recent years, we will decide in the summer according to my physical condition.”
On whether there is a timeline for his retirement: “I do not know if I will go back to Spain to play in Europe with FC Barcelona. I want to take advantage of every season I play, but it is clear that a time will come when I will have to decide.
At the moment I have two years left in my contract and my dream is to fulfill them. It would not be bad to say goodbye in the 2020 Olympic Games with another medal.”
