AzovmashKhalid El-Amin had an amazing game with 32 points and 7 assists as his team Azovmash Mariupol defeated Lietuvos Rytas in Ukraine. It was the second win for Azovmash in Eurocup, while Rytas suffered their second loss.

Although the result was close for most of the first half but the hosts were slowly moving ahead. Azovmash led by 4 points after two quarters – 38-34.

Azovmash's Lithuanian coach Rimas Girskis prepared his team well to expose defense of their opponents. Lietuvos Rytas defenders couldn't handle Khalid El-Amin. He hit 6/9 2pts, 5/10 3pts and 7/7 free-throws.

Mindaugas Lukauskis seemed to have found his game again. Chuck Eidson and Marijonas Petravicius scored only 12 points together. Eidson made only 1 of his 6 2pt shots and 1 of 3 three-pointers.

In the final period the visitors tried to make a run but Azovmash didn't let them come closer than 10 points. Khalid El-Amin hit two three-pointers in a row and the lead of the Ukrainian club reached 16 points.

Points difference could be crucial in the final group standings. Lietuvos Rytas managed to reduce the gap to 10 points in the final minutes.
