Real Madrid forward Anthony Randolph has been fined €2,500 for comments that he made regarding the referees following his side’s EuroLeague loss to Valencia.
According to the EuroLeague press release, Randolph showed a “lack of respect towards the officiating crew”.
It’s showing that EuroLeague Basketball are clamping down on this sort of behaviour quicker and imposing stricter guidelines for teams to follow.
This incident follows Khimki coach Georgios Bartzokas being fined for remarks that he made recently about referees that resulted in him getting fined as well.
