Turkey’s powerhouse Efes Pilsen brought ex-Partizan’s Lawrence Roberts to their squad for a one-year deal.
After successful season with Partizan Belgrade at the Euroleaugue where he averaged 9 points and just about 7 rebounds per game, 28-year old American born in Houston will continue his career at Efes Pilsen.
Contributing even more in domestic competitions and in NLB-league this 205cm power-forward is fourth player who left Belgrade after departure of Slavko Vranes, Aleks Maric and Lester Bo McCalleb. Roberts has signed one-year deal with Efes where he will be joining ex-FMP Zeleznik center Miroslav Raduljica to strenghten positions under the basket.
Roberts spent two years in NLB-league firstly playing for BC Crvena Zvezda before he joined their arch-rivals Partizan after being unable to join some of the NBA league teams last year.
