Greece welcomed the Panathinaikos duo of Nick Calathes and Thanasis Antetokounmpo as well as veteran Ian Vougioukas, and as a result, the Greeks made it 2-0 in Group H as they saw off Israel 82-61.

Despite the double-digit win, Israel made life tough for Greece, who were only leading 31-30 with 1:49 minutes left in the first half.

But suddenly, Greece went on a 15-4 surge spanning the second and third quarters to take control of the game. Israel never threatened again.

Charis Giannopoulos had 13 points to lead Greece.

In Group E, France shot a solid 52 percent from the field as they dispatched of Bosnia & Herzegovina 84-65 in Rouen.

Louis Labeyrie completed a solid week for France as they improve to 2-0 in the group, while dropping the Bosnians to 1-1.

The other Group E clash saw Russia return to winning ways with a 76-69 win over winless Belgium.

Sergey Karasev led the way with 14 points, as Russia moves to 1-1.

Serbia completed their week of games in Belgrade with a comfortable 105-87 win over Georgia to go to 2-0 in Group G.

Miroslav Raduljica went for 28 points for the Serbians, cancelling out Michael Dixon’s impressive 36-point haul for the Georgians.
