Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv are set to complete the signing of 25-year-old American center Paul Davis. The 2.11 m center has already agreed terms with the club. Davis has just finished playing in Orlando NBA Summer League for the Orlando Magic. He averaged 12.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in four Summer League games.
Paul Davis finished last season in Spain with Xacobeo Blu:Sens. He only played six games with the ACB club averaging 13.2 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Before heading to Spain, Davis three seasons in NBA with Los Angeles Clippers. He started 2009-2010 season with Washington Wizards but was waived in November after playing just two games.
Maccabi will play in Group A in Euroleague against Caja Laboral, Partizan, Zalgiris, Asseco Prokom and a team from the qualifying rounds.
