Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv continue building the team for the next season. Antoine Wright is being considered as a potential addition to replace Alan Anderson. The 26-year-old 2.01 m American forward-guard spent last season in NBA with Toronto Raptors.
Wright played 67 games last season, 10 of which he started. He averaged 6.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game last season for the Raptors.
Before heading to Toronto the 15th overall draft pick in 2005 has played for New Jersey Nets and Dallas Mavericks. His best season was in Dallas in 2008-2009 as he averaged 7.3 points per game.
David Blatt is famous for signing American players and getting the msot out of them so it’s no surprise that Wright was added to the list candidates to join Maccabi.
