Sarunas JasikeviciusSarunas Jasikevicius will become the third big name to leave Panathinaikos following Nikola Pekovic and Vassilis Spanoulis. According to ynet.co.il, Lithuanian point guard will sign a two-year contract worth €1.2 million with Maccabi in the coming days. TalkBasket.net reported about the move more than one month ago.

34-year-old point guard is currently a free agent after Panathinaikos decides not use the option in the contract to extend for one more season. However, Greek champions were interested in keeping Saras for a lower salary by offering a new contract. Apparently a deal which would make both parts happy has not been reached.

Saras enjoyed the best days of his career in Maccabi and is most likely to retire in Israel once his contract expires.
