Nikola Kalinic will sign a new contract with Fenerbahce that will keep him with the EuroLeague champions until 2020.

The Serbian forward joins fellow returnees Kostas Sloukas and Luigi Datome, who both inked new deals with the Turkish champions.

He averaged 7.5 points and 3.1 rebounds last season and though his performances were not standout, he was a vital part of the team and did the things you don’t see on the stats. Such as, get a hand up on jump shooters, be a general nuisance on the defensive end, guide his team-mates in the paint, Kalinic is he team’s rock.

Kalinic was always expected to sign a new deal with Fenerbahce and the team look poised to ink Italian Nicolo Melli next.
