The Eurobasket Women group stages concluded, Monday with teams still yet to have their fate decided.

One team whose fate was confirmed was the hosts Czech Republic. They signed off on a high with a deserving 67-63 win over Spain, who were already sealed their qualification from Group A.

Ukraine stay in the hunt via Group A as they brushed off the challenge of Hungary 84-72.

Champions Serbia have stayed in the tournament and keep their hopes of going to the last eight alive but they had to rely on a convincing 88-69 win over Slovenia to do it as the tournament debutants exit but with heads held high.

France advanced from Group C as winners. They defeated a stubborn Greece side 70-63 to finish unbeaten from three games.

Another team that finished 3-0 was Turkey as they beat Belarus 88-74 in Group B to advance as pool winners. Italy got the better of Slovak Republic 68-61 as they both are in with a chance of advancing.

Belgium were the third team to advance as undefeated group winners. The Lionesses edged Latvia 62-58 to go through. Russia finished runners-up by overpowering Montenegro 78-54.

Qualification matches to QF:

Serbia vs Latvia; Italy vs Hungary; Russia vs Greece; Ukraine vs Slovak Republic.

Quarter-finalists:

Spain, Turkey, France, Belgium.
