Greece’s magical run at Eurobasket Women continued as they hammered the heavily fancied Turkey to reach the semi-finals.
A 21-3 run straddling the half-time interval broke the game open in Greece’s favour as they recorded a deserving 84-55 success against a woeful Turkey side who now fight for a classification place.
Evanthia Maltsi continued to role back the years at the tournament, the 38-year-old digging deep for a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds.
Joining Greece in the last four for the first time will be Belgium, who took down Italy on the back of a stellar performance from Emma Meesseman.
The star big notched 28 points, adding 10 boards, 5 assists and 5 blocks as the Cats secured a 79-66 win that even caught the eye of Chelsea goalkeeper and Belgian football international Thibaut Courtois.

Tournament favourites Spain breezed to the last four as they comfortably despatched of Latvia 67-47.
Alba Torrens led the way for the Spanish team with 20 points, and Marta Xargay added 16.
France completed the semi-final line-up with a 67-40 win over the Slovak Republic.
Valeriane Ayayi had a team-high 13 points for France, who will meet Greece on Saturday in a repeat of a match that France won in pool play.
