Whether it will happen or not, CSKA Moscow are rumoured to be preparing for a possible life after Milos Teodosic.

With Teodosic’s name being drawn to the NBA perhaps more than ever, CSKA are eyeing Zenit St. Petersburg guard and fellow Serbian Stefan Markovic as a possible replacement for next season, according to Spanish outlet Diario Sur.

Markovic is coming off a tremendous season for Zenit this season in the EuroCup, averaging 12 points and nine assists in the competition, guiding the Russian side to the quarter-finals where they were eliminated by Lokomotiv Kuban.

While it will hard to replace Teodosic, widely regarded as the top guards outside of the NBA, Markovic will provide CSKA with a solid two-way guard.
