Jaylen Brown revealed that one of his biggest purchasing regrets was buying an expensive Porsche that he barely uses because he has a personal driver.
Brown explained that he purchased a Porsche Taycan Turbo in 2022, believing it would be a worthwhile addition to his collection.
However, he later realized that owning the vehicle made little practical sense given his transportation habits.
“Okay, got you. That’s perfect. Worst purchase, I would say I bought, in 2022 I bought a Porsche, a Taycan Turbo Porsche.”
The NBA champion explained that his interest in Porsche vehicles was partly influenced by his appreciation for James Bond movies.
Despite having admired the brand for years, Brown admitted that he rarely gets behind the wheel himself.
“I like the movie, like James Bond. So I always liked Porsches, but I don’t even drive…”
Brown then pointed out the contradiction of purchasing a luxury sports car while relying on someone else to handle his daily transportation.
“So I bought a car and I don’t even drive. I got a driver.”
