Lithuanian prodigy Jonas Valanciunas is attracting the interest of Olympiacos, according to lrytas.lt. One of the hottest prospects in Europe made his LKL debut this year with Perlas and instantly became one of the best centers in the league. He was signed by Lietuvos Rytas in the mid-season but soon could make yet another big step in his career.
18-year-old center signed a multi-year deal with Rytas though Olympiacos are prepared to buy-out the contract. Money should not be a problem for the richest club in Europe.
If Valanciunas signs with Olympiacos he would still be playing for Rytas for at least a couple of years. He is expected to make his Euroleague debut next season with Rytas as a starting center.
