ImageOne of the most interesting and much anticipated games of this week's Euroleague will be Olympiacos-Lietuvos Rytas and the Lithuanian club's head coach, Rimantas Kurtinaitas, did not hide his ambitions, an away win.

Of course, as Kurtinatis himseld admitted it will not be easy.

"Although we didn't have much time to practice thoroughly, I can say we prepared for this game quite carefully. We have watched videos and analysed Olympiacos' game. Olympiacos is a very strong team that has won many titles in the past. Moreover, they usually play great at home, where they get a lot of support from their fans. After they lost in Malaga, they must feel a bit of pressure from both the fans and the board. Then again, they will try hard to make up for it in front of their own crowd. We expect a tough game, obviously. If we win in Greece, Olympiacos will have to fight much harder for a spot in the Top 16."

Greek coach Panagiotis Giannakis on the other hand was happy that his team will be playing in front of their fans:

“Lietuvos Rytas has started their 2009-10 Euroleague campaign excellently and proved that they are in a very good shape. We have to play against a team that plays fast and has a lot of shooting options. Our goal is to defend against their shots, to keep our concentration in defense and try to keep up our pace. In our last Greek League game, we played against Maroussi without our fans, due to a ban, and now we are looking forward to having their support.”

The game will take place on Wednesday, 18:00 CET and you can watch it HERE
