Bojan Popovic has been declared as the October MVP by Euroleague. The Serb point guard has been nothing but impressive playing for Lietuvos Rytas and alreayd leading them to two wins in two games, something which allows the club to top their Euroleague group.
Popovic has dished out an impressive number of 19 assists in just two games, that is 9.5 per game. Add to that another 10.5 points per game and you've got yourself a true top level European point guard.
Has he dished out one more assist in the game vs Orleans (9 assists) he would become the only player in Eurolague history who would register two back-to-back performances containing double digit numbers in assists and points.
This is Popovic' third season in Euroleague in which he has also competed wearing the jerseys of Dynamo Moscow and Unicaja Malaga.
