The New York Knicks are waiving Tony Bradley and Ochai Agbaji, along with Drew Eubanks, as they finalize their roster ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season, Shams Charania reported on Thursday, October 15.

Eubanks suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will miss an extended period, according to Charania. The center had been competing for a reserve role during training camp before the injury ended his chances of making the roster.

Bradley and Agbaji are also being released as New York continues to manage its roster under financial constraints following its 2026 NBA championship.

Bradley, 28, has played for several NBA teams since entering the league in 2017. The center appeared in 40 games across the Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks during the 2025-26 season, averaging 4.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per game with Indiana before appearing in three games for Atlanta.

He shot 55.7% from the field for the Pacers, providing interior finishing and rebounding in a limited role. Bradley also spent time with the Philadelphia 76ers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz during his NBA career.

His departure comes as the Knicks work to address frontcourt depth following Mitchell Robinson’s move to Boston and Ariel Hukporti’s departure to Philadelphia. New York signed Andre Drummond and James Wiseman during the offseason to reinforce the center rotation.

Agbaji, 26, played for the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets in 2025-26. He averaged 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 42 games with Toronto, then posted 6.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 20 appearances for Brooklyn.

The wing shot 42.4% from the field with Toronto and 45.5% with Brooklyn. His three-point shooting, however, was inconsistent, at 18.5% with the Raptors and 34.9% with the Nets.

Agbaji entered the NBA after being selected 14th overall by Cleveland in the 2022 draft before his rights were traded to Utah. He later joined Toronto and Brooklyn.
