Free agent center Ariel Hukporti has agreed to a one-year, $3.4 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, according to ESPN.

Hukporti joins Philadelphia after spending last season with the Knicks, where he served as a reserve on the team’s championship-winning roster.

The 76ers are adding the athletic big man to strengthen their frontcourt depth, with Hukporti expected to provide energy, rebounding, and rim protection off the bench.
