The Sacramento Kings have signed forward Terry Taylor to a 10-day contract, NBA insider Shams Charania reported. Taylor joins the team from their G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings, where he has been averaging 17.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.
Taylor, 25, has played in 95 NBA games across three seasons, spending time with the Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls. His best campaign came during his rookie season with Indiana when he averaged 9.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game.
Sacramento, currently 34-33 and sitting ninth in the Western Conference, is looking for additional depth as they aim to secure a playoff spot. The Kings are 5-5 in their last ten games and will need to improve their consistency in a competitive postseason race.
With Taylor’s rebounding ability and efficiency around the rim, Sacramento hopes he can provide valuable minutes off the bench.
The Kings will continue their push for a higher seed, and Taylor will have a short window to prove he belongs on the roster beyond his 10-day contract.
