The Orlando Magic are set to name Ronnie Burrell as the new head coach of their G League team, the Osceola Magic, according to HoopsHype.
Burrell brings experience from both the NBA and G League levels. He previously worked as an assistant coach with the Portland Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Nets before taking his latest position in Orlando’s organization.
The 43-year-old has also enjoyed success as a head coach in the G League. Burrell was named the league’s Coach of the Year in 2023.
