Former NBA big man Dwight Howard has filed for a protective order against his estranged wife, Amber Howard, also known as Amy Luciani, amid ongoing divorce proceedings.

In court documents, Howard alleges that Amber engaged in a “crusade of lies and defamation” that harmed his reputation and cost him professional opportunities.

He also claims she spread false information to family members, friends, and the mothers of his children.

Howard further alleges that Amber made false statements to law enforcement and had a “history of lying and manipulating” him.

Among the claims in the filing, Howard alleges she misrepresented her ability to have children. Amber has reportedly denied the allegations.

The former NBA star also rejected claims that he used cocaine, stating he has never used the drug and arguing that the accusation negatively affected his career.

A few days after the filings, both parties reportedly agreed to stay at least 100 yards away from one another and avoid harassing each other on social media.

Howard was awarded sole use of his Georgia home and will pay Amber $10,000 to assist with moving expenses.
