De’Anthony Melton of the Golden State Warriors is also a player to watch in free agency, as he holds a minimum-salary player option for next season.
The 27-year-old guard has dealt with multiple back and knee issues in recent years, which has shaped his mindset to focus more on the present.
He recently indicated on Willard and Dibs that he would strongly consider a return to Golden State, according to Tristi Rodriguez of NBC Sports Bay Area.
“I mean, of course. Of course,” Melton said. “I feel like I’ve expressed countless times how much I love Golden State, from the medical staff to the actual staff to the front office to the players that have been here.
“So I think that love is definitely out there. But at the end of the day, I just take it day by day and see how it goes.”
Melton has played 8 seasons for 4 teams, including the Grizzlies and Warriors.
He has averaged 9.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 394 regular-season games.
