Macedonian champions MZT Skopje have received an invitation to compete in this season’s upcoming EuroCup competition.
The proposal has been made to the club, who have won the Macedonian league title for five straight years by Euroleague Commercial Assets. Skopje, who also compete in the Adriatic League have yet to make a decision.
“I can confirm that we got an invitation to play in Eurocup as champion of FYR of Macedonia and member of ABA Liga,” a senior figure for the team told Macedonian media outlet Ekipa.
“We were a bit surprised for this invitation and we are analyzing the situation. After that we’ll decide whether to play in Eurocup too or just in ABA Liga.”
