With Yanic Konan Niederhauser sidelined for the remainder of the season because of a foot injury, Los Angeles Clippers center Isaiah Jackson is seeing increased playing time, according to reporting from Janis Carr of The Orange County Register.

Jackson made the most of his opportunity during Saturday’s win in Memphis, delivering a strong all-around effort.

The 24-year-old contributed 12 points and 12 rebounds while also adding two steals and a block across 25 minutes on the court, giving the Clippers valuable energy and interior presence.

“Just how he plays hard. He plays hard and competes,” head coach Tyronn Lue said of Jackson, whom the Clippers acquired last month in a trade with Indiana.

“He’s a guy that can switch and guard the basketball, offensive rebound, runs the floor, and can get behind the defense on pick-and-rolls. Tonight, like I said, it was just a game for him, and we needed his athleticism and his ability to switch. He did a good job for us.”
