Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd said Cooper Flagg could return to action during the team’s current road trip, Eddie Sefko of Mavs.com reports.

Flagg has been sidelined since Feb. 10 with a midfoot sprain but is making steady progress in his recovery.

“He’s ramping up. Everything is going well,” Kidd said. “Today was to kind of get back in his routine and hopefully as we go on this road trip he can get in and play a game or two.”

Dallas began the six-game road stretch with a loss to Charlotte on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, both two-way contracts the Mavericks recently gave to John Poulakidas and Tyler Smith will run for two years, according to Spotrac contributor Keith Smith.

Poulakidas, an undrafted rookie guard from Yale, made his NBA debut Tuesday, finishing scoreless in 14 minutes while recording five rebounds and two assists.
