
The New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz are set to meet at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City on Saturday at 9:30 p.m. ET, with both teams navigating significant injury concerns.
New Orleans will be without two-way players Trey Alexander and Hunter Dickinson, while Trey Murphy III remains sidelined with a right shoulder contusion. Dejounte Murray continues his return-to-competition reconditioning, and Yves Missi is listed as questionable with a left calf strain.
For Utah, the injury list is extensive. Lauri Markkanen, Jaren Jackson Jr., Walker Kessler, Jusuf Nurkic, and Vince Williams Jr. are all out due to various injuries ranging from knee issues to a nose recovery. Keyonte George is questionable with a right ankle sprain.
The Pelicans are riding a two-game winning streak, most recently defeating Utah 129-118 on February 26.
Despite missing Murphy III and Murray, New Orleans has relied heavily on Zion Williamson, who averages 21.9 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, and Saddiq Bey, contributing 17.2 points per contest. DeAndre Jordan and Derik Queen have been key inside, with Queen averaging 7.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
Utah’s scoring load has fallen on Markkanen, who averages 26.7 points per game, and George with 23.8 points.
