Turkey overcame Senegal 68-62 to advance to the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament semi-finals in Manila and send the proud African nation home.
Bobby Dixon paced the Turks with 23 points but they were pushed all the way by an athletic and stubborn Senegalese attack.
Canada finished as Group B winners with Turkey runners-up.
France left it late but they edged out New Zealand 66-59 to finish as group winners.
The Tall Blacks ended as runners up of Group A.
Mickael Gelabale finished with 11 points to lead the French.
