Kings center Domantas Sabonis is aware that his name has once again surfaced in trade rumors this season, but he told Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee that he’s trying not to let the noise affect him.

Lithuanian big man said there’s little value in dwelling on speculation and that his focus remains on playing and helping the team.

“There’s nothing you can do,” Sabonis said. “You just try to ignore it. I’m here right now, and we’re just trying to go out there and play as well as we can.”

The three-time All-Star acknowledged that the rumors carry a different weight now than earlier in his career, given changes in his personal life.

Sabonis is married, has three children, owns a home in Napa Valley, and runs a wine brand, all of which add another layer to how he processes uncertainty.

“It’s definitely different this time,” the player said. “I’ve got kids, so you’ve got to think about that, but on the court it’s the same thing. I forget everything once I’m in between those lines and the goal is just to help your team win.”
