Dillon Brooks scored 21 points and Grayson Allen added 19 as the Phoenix Suns dominated the Memphis Grizzlies 117-98 on Wednesday night at FedExForum.

Brooks, who spent his first six seasons with Memphis, poured in 18 points in the first half to help Phoenix build an early lead, while Allen connected on five of 10 three-pointers.

Devin Booker contributed 13 points but shot 6-of-15 from the field as the Suns improved to 22-15, winning seven of their last nine games.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 19 points, and Cam Spencer, Javon Small, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 14 each, but Memphis shot just 42 percent and committed 18 turnovers, creating 25 points for Phoenix.

The Suns’ lead reached 22 early in the third quarter, and even a brief 10-2 Memphis run could not cut the deficit, as Phoenix carried a 91-68 advantage into the fourth.

Phoenix dominated the boards 51-47 and recorded 16 assists, while Memphis struggled with only 18 assists from a short-handed lineup missing eight rotation players, including Ja Morant.

This win marks a second season victory over Memphis for Phoenix, following a 114-113 road win on October 29, and continues the Suns’ strong performance against Western Conference teams.

The Suns host the New York Knicks on Friday, while Memphis returns home to face Oklahoma City the same night.
