Collins emphasized the importance of staying committed to those habits as the season moves forward.
While the bench played a major role, one player who didn’t factor into the action was Patrick Williams. Although he was listed as questionable because of an illness, he suited up but did not see the floor.
According to Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic, Williams has averaged just 7.8 minutes per game over his last four appearances.
The former lottery pick is now in the second season of a five-year, $90 million extension, making his limited role a notable storyline as Chicago continues its recent surge.
