The Brooklyn Nets visit the Philadelphia 76ers Tuesday night at Xfinity Mobile Arena with both teams managing injury concerns and aiming to extend their winning streaks.
Brooklyn (8-19) enters with a one-game win after beating Toronto 96-81, while Philadelphia (16-11) rides a two-game streak following victories at New York and over Dallas.
Brooklyn faces significant absences, including Haywood Highsmith (right knee surgery), Cam Thomas (left hamstring strain), and Drake Powell (right ankle sprain). Ben Saraf is listed as probable with a right ankle sprain.
Michael Porter Jr. leads the Nets with 25.6 points per game and 7.4 rebounds, while Nic Claxton contributes 13.5 points and 7.7 rebounds.
Philadelphia will also be limited, with Kelly Oubre Jr. (left knee sprain) and Trendon Watford (left adductor strain) out. Joel Embiid is probable with a right knee issue, and both Dominick Barlow and Quentin Grimes are questionable due to illness.
Tyrese Maxey continues to shoulder the offense, averaging 31.7 points, 7.1 assists, and 4.5 rebounds. VJ Edgecombe adds 16 points per game, and Paul George contributes 16.2 points with 5.1 rebounds.
The 76ers swept the season series so far, defeating Brooklyn 129-105 on November 2 and 115-103 on November 28, both at Barclays Center.
Bench depth will be critical for both sides. Brooklyn’s Noah Clowney averages 13.4 points with 4.0 rebounds, and Terance Mann adds 8.4 points while providing perimeter shooting. Philadelphia’s Andre Drummond brings 9.6 rebounds per game, and Adem Bona offers shot-blocking with 1.6 blocks in limited minutes.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET.
