The Chicago Bulls visit the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday at State Farm Arena looking to extend their three-game winning streak. Chicago (13-15) has won consecutive matchups against Cleveland, while Atlanta (15-15) enters on a three-game skid, including a 152-150 loss to the Bulls on December 21.
The Bulls face multiple absences, including Noa Essengue (left shoulder surgery) and G League two-way players Trentyn Flowers, Emanuel Miller, and Lachlan Olbrich.
Chicago relies heavily on Josh Giddey, who averages 20.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 8.9 assists, alongside Nikola Vucevic’s 16 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Coby White contributes 21.2 points while providing playmaking from the backcourt.
Atlanta also battles injuries, with Dyson Daniels (right hip inflammation) and Kristaps Porzingis (illness) out, and Mouhamed Gueye, Caleb Houstan, and Nikola Djurisic listed as questionable.
Jalen Johnson leads the Hawks with 23.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game. Nickeil Alexander-Walker adds 20.3 points per night, and Onyeka Okongwu chips in 15.9 points with 7.4 rebounds.
Season series favors Chicago, which has won both previous meetings—128-123 on October 27 and 152-150 on December 21.
The Bulls have demonstrated strong scoring depth, with Matas Buzelis and Ayo Dosunmu each averaging over 14 points and providing floor spacing with efficient shooting from deep. Atlanta relies on Vit Krejci and Luke Kennard for perimeter shooting, while Trae Young remains limited this season with only seven games played.
Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
