Michael Porter Jr. scored 28 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Brooklyn Nets past the Philadelphia 76ers 114-106 at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Tuesday night. Egor Demin added 20 points and hit key 3s in the fourth quarter as Brooklyn held off a late Philly rally.

Nic Claxton recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Terance Mann and Noah Clowney provided support in a balanced team effort. The Nets led by as many as 19 points before the 76ers cut it to nine midway through the fourth.

Porter built his numbers early, scoring 25 points by halftime on 5-of-8 3-point shooting to give Brooklyn a 63-57 advantage. Demin’s late shooting and Brooklyn’s defensive stops helped maintain the lead despite Philadelphia’s push.

Joel Embiid scored 27 points and returned after briefly leaving with a right knee issue, but Tyrese Maxey struggled, finishing with 13 points on 3-of-14 shooting. Paul George added 19 points for the 76ers, and Andre Drummond posted a 12-point, 13-rebound double-double.

Brooklyn converted 17 of 46 three-point attempts and finished with 82% from the free-throw line. The Nets improved to 9-19 with the win, marking their third victory in four games, while Philadelphia falls to 16-12.

The Nets travel to Minnesota on Saturday, while the 76ers open a five-game road trip at Chicago on Friday.
