Boban Marjanovic has officially signed with Ilirija, as confirmed on the ABA League website, ending recent speculation about his next destination.
The Slovenian club, which competes in the ABA League and is backed by the Dončić family, continues to make high-profile moves, and Marjanovic’s arrival further boosts its visibility.
There is a chance the veteran center could make his debut as soon as this weekend against Budućnost.
Marjanovic’s career spans more than two decades across Europe and the NBA. He began with Hemofarm, later playing for clubs such as CSKA Moscow, Žalgiris, Nizhny Novgorod, Mega, and Crvena Zvezda, where he earned EuroLeague First Team honors.
That success led to an NBA career that included stops with San Antonio, Detroit, the Clippers, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Houston.
At 37, Marjanovic remains active on the international stage. He opened last season with Fenerbahce, moved to Zhejiang in January 2025, and now adds Ilirija as the latest stop in his long professional journey.
