Terry Rozier has made progress in addressing the legal and financial issues that have surrounded him recently.

According to Daniel Libit of Sportico, the IRS announced in late October that it had formally satisfied an $8.2MM tax lien filed against the veteran guard.

The lien dated back several years and had been one of the major unresolved pieces of his legal situation.

Rozier’s attorney, Jim Trusty, clarified at the time that the total amount Rozier owed was actually higher than what appeared in the IRS filing.

Trusty explained that Rozier “owed $9MM on the lien,” but emphasized that the payment had already been made in full and that they were only waiting on the IRS to finish removing the lien from its system.
