The Atlanta Hawks will face the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday without Trae Young, who remains sidelined with a right knee MCL sprain. Onyeka Okongwu is listed as questionable with left ankle inflammation, leaving the Hawks’ lineup uncertain for the matchup at Smoothie King Center.

Atlanta has had to adapt offensively in Young’s absence, averaging 22.3 points from Jalen Johnson, who leads the team in both scoring and assists with 6.6 per game. Nickeil Alexander-Walker has contributed 19.7 points per contest, while Okongwu adds 16.0 points and 7.4 rebounds when active.

The Hawks have lost back-to-back games, falling 126-135 at the Spurs on November 20 and 112-120 to the Pistons at home on November 18. These results drop Atlanta to 9-7 on the season.

New Orleans, coming off a narrow 118-115 loss at the Mavericks on November 21, are yet to submit their own injury report.

Zion Williamson leads the Pelicans with 21.3 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, while Trey Murphy III averages 19.9 points and 6.5 rebounds. Jordan Poole adds 17.3 points per game, and Derik Queen contributes 6.4 rebounds and 15.3 points.

The Pelicans are struggling to a 2-14 record. New Orleans has lost its last two contests, including a 125-118 defeat against the Nuggets on November 19.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM ET.
