The Milwaukee Bucks have waived guard Cormac Ryan, who was signed to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract, RealGM reported. Ryan is expected to join the Wisconsin Herd for the upcoming G League season.
Ryan, 26, went undrafted in 2024 but played for the Oklahoma City Thunder during the Summer League before signing with the team in September. He was waived a month later and spent most of last season with the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League.
During his stint with the Blue, Ryan appeared in 27 games and averaged 12.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists while shooting 35.6 percent from three-point range and nearly 98 percent from the free-throw line.
The guard returned for the 2025 NBA Summer League with Milwaukee, posting 11.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists across five games. His perimeter shooting and versatility were noted as valuable skills for a backcourt seeking floor-spacing options.
The Wisconsin Herd will serve as Ryan’s platform to continue refining his game, with potential opportunities to return to the NBA through a two-way deal or future call-up.
