Kristaps Porzingis: This group can be something special

Here’s new Atlanta Hawk Kristaps Porzingis on what excites him about the roster.

“The youth and the margin of growth that we can have: that’s exciting. Even probably guys that worked hard this summer, you’re gonna see a jump in their games. Dyson [Daniels] is 22 also. I found that out. This guy is super young and already like (continuously raises hand) every year. And that’s what you want to see. That’s exciting.

“And Trae [Young] is what? 27 or so? Or something like that? Right? He’s hitting his prime and he’s reading the game at a different level than most of the NBA players. And to play with players like that, it’s really cool. And then you have young guys, developing guys: everybody’s kinda hungry for success, hungry for some more recognition. And you put that kind of a group together, it can be something special.”
